Life Goes On.

WOW! this weather is sure mimicking my feelings the past couple days. It wants to rain, it rains a bit, It stops. Just rain and get it over. We need the rain to clense the earth and replenish the underground rivers and the above ground lakes and for it to snow in the mountains. It's chilly, gray and dismal. Very unlike this kind of weather we had in Iowa. Durring the rainy weather there it would be so bleak and dreary that people commited suicide. Between being caught in the recession and not working ... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!
My youngest daughter was pregnant, she had been having troubles from the beginning with excessive bleeding and then being on bed rest before going back to work, being the sole bread winner of her little family was not easy on her. I said she "was" because she called her sister last night to tell us that her membrane had ruptured and she was heading to the hospital, She called again this morning to tell me that she had given birth to a little girl. The wee one of coarse didn't make it. She said the baby had a heart beat last night but was stillborn this morning. She was only four months along in her pregnancy. I was about to start a baby afghan for her child to be. But now I think I need to make her a comfortghan instead. Maybe one that has a baby girl afghan in the center and darker colors surrounding. OK, lets think cheery thoughts and plan a nice afghan or maybe a beautiful shawl that she can wrap around herself in and make plans for the future.

  1. So sorry to hear the news. She must be feeling really sad right now. A wrap might be really nice. It could feel like a hug.
